The Lateef Jakande Leadership Academy has kicked off its Local Government Tour by embarking on its first visit to Agboyi Ketu Local Council Development Area(LCDA).
The Executive Secretary for the Academy, Mrs. Ayisat Agbaje-Okunade, reiterated the commitment of the Academy to groom well-rounded Fellows who embody effective leadership skills, especially at the grassroots level which requires a delicate balance between pragmatism and community sensitivity.
The Executive Chairman, Agboyi Ketu LCDA, Mayor Dele Oshinowo, delved into the intricacies of policy-making and governance, while highlighting vital social welfare programmes and infrastructural projects that promote sustainable development.
The Fellows also visited the palace of Oba (Engr.) Monsuru Oladega, the Olu of Agboyi Land.
