This perspective framed a compelling Fireside Chat session where Fellows of the Lateef Jakande Leadership Academy engaged with the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Sam Egube, in a conversation centered on relationships, intentional growth, and the human side of leadership.

Addressing the Fellows, Mr. Egube underscored that leadership value is not self assigned but defined by impact. He noted that individuals derive meaning and relevance through the people they work with and the systems they help strengthen. According to him, sustainable leadership is rooted in contribution, not position.
